- At the April 15 meeting, the Club passed a motion to purchase a third "Genie" machine for the cabochon classes, either a good used or a new model. If you know of one in good condition for sale, e-mail the club. In addition, if we do order the new one, if club members or friends are interested in purchasing one at the same time, it is $51.00 less per unit. The cost would be $1,599.00 plus $40.00 shipping.

Some upcoming club meeting highlights... June 17 is our annual silent auction with proceeds helping with club projects. Rock and mineral specimens, baked goods and jewelry are some of the items usually available and the bidding can get spirited. Please bring an item or two for the auction.
- Check with Judy Owen about a future cabochon making classes. Tom Fordyce and another instructor are teaching classes later in April. Remember, you must be a member of the club to participate in the classes.
