OUR NEXT REGULAR MEETING WILL BE HELD AT 7:00 P.M. ON TUESDAY, February 21, 2012. The 5 minute program will feature club members bringing their
favorite 3 or 4 quartz crystals for a show and tell. The main program have be a DVD on the World Championship Quartz Crystal Hunts in the Mt. Ida, Arkansas area.

The GTARMC was awarded the first place award for the 2011 Midwest Federation's annual website contest and fifth place in the nationwide
American Federation contest!! The awards were announced at the September 9 - 11, 2011, Midwest Federation Convention in Toledo, Ohio. The
Midwest Federation includes 8 states and portions of 3 others. The American Federation is made up of 7 regions across the country.

The 2012 Copper Country Mineral Retreat will be August 6 - 10....

The GTARMC needs members or guest of members to sign up to present the 5 minute and main programs for many months of 2012. Please sign
up at the meetings or contact Don Reed, Vice President in charge of program scheduling.

Margaux Smith and Jim Pillars will be teaching beginning cabochon classes in 2012. Ken Schug and John Matz have taught
silversmithing classes in 2011 and are teaching again in 2012. Check with Education Coordinator, Tom Fordyce about getting in a class for 2012.
Remember, you must be a member of the club to participate in these or other classes.
